Salary conversions use standard working assumptions: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, giving 2,080 working hours per year and 260 working days.
To convert an annual salary to an hourly rate, divide by 2,080 (40 x 52). To convert hourly to annual, multiply by 2,080.
Take-home pay calculations apply the 2025 US federal income tax brackets after subtracting the standard deduction. FICA taxes are calculated on gross income.
