Calculators are permitted on the entire ACT Math section (60 questions, 60 minutes). You may use any four-function, scientific, or graphing calculator.
- Calculators are allowed for all 60 questions in the ACT Math section.
- Four-function, scientific, and graphing calculators are all permitted.
- Prohibited: calculators with CAS (Computer Algebra System), calculators with internet or Bluetooth connectivity, phone or tablet calculators, and calculators that make noise or have a power cord.
- Prohibited models include the TI-89, TI-92, TI-Nspire CAS, HP 48GII, HP 50g, Casio ClassPad, and Casio Algebra FX series.
- Recommended models: TI-84 Plus CE, TI-36X Pro, Casio fx-991EX.
- You may not share a calculator with another test-taker during the exam.
